What Is Reiki?

​

Reiki is a healing touch modality that was created by

a Japanese man named Mikao Usui about 100 yrs.

ago. Usui achieved enlightenment on the 21st day of

a fasting and meditation retreat on a sacred mountain

in Japan. When he came down from the mountain he

realized that he had the gift of the healing touch and

he became well known in Japan as a great healer and

teacher.
 

Reiki is a simple practice that can be easily learned by

anyone. It promotes healing by inducing a deeply

relaxed state in which balance and harmony are restored

on all levels of being - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. For those who dedicate themselves to the practice of Reiki, it also becomes a spiritual path into the highest states of enlightenment.

My own training in Reiki was profoundly life altering and launched me on a path that led out of a career as a cook and into a full time practice as a professional healer / teacher / counselor. Through the practice of Reiki, I was able to achieve a level of peace of mind, happiness and fulfillment that I couldn't have imagined possible, and I'm confident that it can work in this way for you too.

I've taught Reiki since 2006 to hundreds of students and I've seen some amazing transformations in their lives. I took Levels 1 & 2 with Louisiana Zinn and Level 3 / Master Teacher and Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher with the ICRT Center Certified teacher Carlos Gonzalez. They were both wonderful teachers. I teach the ICRT Usui / Tibetan curriculum with their manuals.

All Reiki and Angelic Liquid Light Healing® classes will be taught online via Webex video conference until further notice.

Reiki Levels 1 & 2
Level 1 is a one day class. In it, you will learn the history of Reiki, the spiritual principles of Reiki and how to give a Reiki treatment to yourself and others using traditional Japanese Reiki techniques. Your ability to channel Reiki energy will be activated in a process called an attunement.

In the Level 1 class you will receive 4 attunements. The attunement takes about 3 minutes and it clears subtle energy pathways in the student and opens up the energy centers in the palms so that Reiki can flow through them. The last portion of class will be spent giving Reiki treatments to each other..

n the Level 2 class, you will be attuned twice to the 3 Reiki symbols and will learn how to use them and how to send distant Reiki.  The last 90 min. of class will be devoted to treatment practice..

All classes include guided meditations lead by me and my apprentices.

Accelerated Reiki 1 & 2 for professional healers, practitioners or teachers of yoga, meditation, chi gong etc.. - If you are an L.Ac., LMT or other holistic health professional, a yoga teacher or seasoned yoga practitioner, meditator and / or chi gong practitioner, you may qualify for my accelerated Reiki 1 & 2 training. Do you know the 7 chakras and basic anatomy of the human body? Do you know what chi is? If your answer is yes to most of the above then you're probably ready to take Reiki 1 & 2 in 7.5 hrs. (it normally takes about 14 hrs) in a private one on one class, preferably at your residence or online on the Webex video conference platform. The fee is $360.

Level 3 (Advanced Reiki Training) 
The Level 3 class is for those who want to take their practice to the next level by being attuned to the traditional Usui Master Symbol. In this class you will learn several advanced Reiki techniques, including Reiki Qi Gong, Aura Clearing, Reiki Crystal Grid and Reiki Microcosmic Orbit Meditation. The Usui Master Symbol represents enlightenment and the Level 3 attunement will help the student experience a deeper level of enlightenment which can be channeled into a higher quality of Reiki healing energy. Enlightenment is the overriding theme of this class and teachings on the true nature enlightenment will be given. This class tends to be a major turning point in the life of the student,creating a sense of inner peace, fearlessness, compassion and effortlessness. The last 90 min. of class will be devoted to treatment practice..

All classes include guided meditations lead by me and my apprentices.

Reiki Master Teacher 

In this class you will receive the R.M.T. attunement which includes the 2 Tibetan symbols.. You will learn how to draw and use the new symbols. You will also participate in guided meditations. The rest of the class will be spent learning how to give the attunements for all the levels of training, as well as an attunement that is used only for healing. The last 90 min. of class will be devoted to treatment practice.. All students will graduate this class feeling confident in their ability to give attunements. 

You will be given the ICRT Reiki Master Teacher teacher manual in this class which has detailed sections on how to start and maintain a professional teaching practice. The cost of your manual is included in the fee. I will also share my experiences and guidance on teaching Reiki classes. You will receive a Deer Spirit Reiki certificate upon completion of this class.

Students who graduate from this class are eligible to apply for acceptance into my Reiki Master Teacher Apprenticeship program.

Karuna Reiki® Level 1, 2 & Master Teacher

These classes are taught in the International Center for Reiki Training - William Lee Rand lineage with the I.C.R.T. manuals. In order to register for these classes, you must have completed all levels of Usui Reiki training with me or another professional Reiki teacher and know your 5 Reiki Principles, Reiki history, basic Reiki techniques, 3 Reiki Level 2 symbols and 1 Reiki Level 3 symbol and have some experience giving Reiki treatment to yourself and others. These classes are taught by private appointment only.

Karuna is a Sanskrit word that means compassion. In Buddhism, Quan Yin and Avalokiteshvara are the female and male embodiment of boundless compassion and selfless service that result from the achievement of enlightenment. Karuna Reiki is the expression through healing touch of that enlightenment.

Karuna Reiki is a higher level of Reiki that is offered to Usui Reiki Masters only. When you get attuned to the Karuna Reiki energies, you will have more energy healing tools to work with and will be able to provide healing for yourself and others on a much deeper level.

For Level 1 you will be attuned to 4 new symbols and learn what they do and how to use them. For Level 2 you will be attuned to 4 more symbols and learn what they do and how to use them. In the Karuna Reiki Master Teacher portion of class you will be attuned to the master symbol and learn the Karuna attunement process.

These classes include special healing meditations, a lot of treatment practice, and you will also learn how to chant the symbols for sound healing.
