Deer Spirit Reiki Newsletter Deer Friends – Go back to Deer Spirit home page... We certainly have much to be grateful for, not the least of which is a wonderful new president and administration. First, I want to thank George Bush and the gang for waking everybody up! He and his neo – con cohorts did a great job of scaring the crap out of everyone and reminding us of exactly what we DON’T want America to become! The sacred destiny of America (A – Mer – I – Ca means “ Great Mother of All Souls “) is to lead our precious planet into the New Age of World Peace and Enlightenment and Barack Obama is the right man for the job. His campaign and victory thrilled the whole world and restored our faith in our country and the beautiful transcendental ideals that it was founded upon. I had a feeling that Barack might be the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln, so I googled “ Barack Obama reincarnation of Lincoln” and came up with dozens of sites. Apparently, many others had the same idea! I found this site - which claims that Obama is actually the reincarnation of Lyman Trumball, a U.S. Senator who was a close associate of Lincoln’s and a crusader for abolition of slavery. Check out the site and decide for yourself – I think they’re right. In any case, a quick perusal of Obama’s horoscope is in order. He’s a Leo with Aquarius Rising and Moon in Gemini. He has Uranus conjunct his Leo Sun – a Uranian Alien Power – he projects Uranian energy directly from his soul essence (Sun), and Leo is the sign of leadership (“Alien “ refers to the specialized energy field – he’s not normal – doesn’t fit in with the status quo). Uranus is the planet of innovative change, and with Aquarius rising (Aquarius is ruled by Uranus), he has a double dose of Uranian energy. Uranian people love freedom. They are very open minded, humanitarian, and unprejudiced. Uranus is the planet of uniqueness and eccentricity and originality. Uranian people are innovators and they lead us into the future by bringing in new paradigms. Barack’s stellium of Sun, Uranus, North Node all in Leo and Pluto in Virgo straddling his descendant, add up to a man who is destined (Sun conj. N. Node) to provide innovative (Uranus) and transformative (Pluto) leadership (Leo), bringing our country into a more harmonious and peaceful relationship (7th house) with the world. Barack also has Saturn in Capricorn and Jupiter in Aquarius in the 12th house, signifying a very old soul (Saturn in Capricorn) who has mastered universal spiritual principles and achieved a high degree of enlightenment (Jupiter in Aquarius) in other lifetimes. He also has Neptune in Scorpio in the 9th house, signifying great spiritual depth in his philosophy and intimacy with the divine. Barack’s Chiron in Pisces conj. S.Node in Aquarius in the 1st house means he can draw in alchemical healing skills (Chiron) tempered with enlightened compassion (Aquarius & Pisces). It also means his body and ego are specially set up to channel healing frequencies. Barack’s Moon in Gemini in the 4th sextile his Mercury in Leo in the 6th give him great oratorial and writing skills. He channels deep emotion (Moon in the 4th) through his voice (Gemini & Mercury) and has good coordination of mind and heart which he uses in service to society (Mercury in Leo in the 6th). Another plus is the feminine energy of both his Moon in the 4th and his Venus in Cancer in the 5th, which give him great sensitivity and provide a nice counterpoint to his masculine Leo Sun and Aquarius ascendant. This is a man who honors the Goddess! Diana Batki with her 5 Reiki 1 & 2 students in her apartment in Budapest, Hungary Some of you may remember Diana Batki, a young Hungarian woman who used to come to the Reiki circle. Last summer she announced that she wanted to take Reiki 1 & 2 with me before returning home to Hungary. She took the classes and at one point during the Reiki 2 class, she asked me “ How long does it take to become a Reiki Master ? I have already bought my plane ticket home – I leave in 1 week, but now I want to be a Reiki Master when I go home!! “. Well, to make a long story short, she got on that plane with her Reiki Master certificate packed lovingly in her suitcase(for a more detailed account see her beautifully written testimonial on my website). And believe me, after working with her, I can tell you that without a doubt, she is a very gifted teacher and healer! A few weeks later, I received an email with a link for her new Reiki website. A couple days ago I received another email with a photo attachment. The photo was of Diana and 5 Reiki 1 & 2 students that she had just initiated! YAY Diana! YOU ROCK!!! Don’t worry! It’s not the end of the world!! Don’t listen to the fear mongers and doomsayers! But Pluto entering Capricorn is a BIG DEAL and I’ll tell you why... Pluto entered Capricorn on Nov. 28th, 2008. Pluto is the most distant planet from the Sun and has the slowest passage through the Zodiac. The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was 240 yrs. ago – during the American Revolution. So now it’s come full circle and we have another revolution on our hands. Pluto is death and transformation and Saturn is the established order. Make no mistake – Pluto entering Capricorn marks the end of the old patriarchal control hierarchies! HALLELUJAH!!! The current world wide economic crisis is merely a symptom of this great karmic (Capricorn) cleansing and transformation (Pluto). Thousands of years of rule by the elite cabals of bankers, priests, royal families, politicians and industrialists are coming to an end. So if all this is passing away, what will take it’s place ? Don’t look to the past, for none of the old structures or “isms” will serve the evolution of our species anymore. All the social, religious and economic paradigms of the past are obsolete. Our entire solar system is entering a new octave of vibration and the new age that is dawning will present us with a totally new set of challenges and rewards. And to all you paranoid conspiracy theory junkies – a world government is inevitable and it won’t be a bad thing. It will be a council of trusted servants / responsible administrators who work in full transparency / accountability. Sounds too good to be true, right ? Well, believe me, the next three years will be a time when your wildest dreams can and will come true! So whatever you do, dream big, choose Love over Fear, and don’t miss the cosmic party in 2012!! Just remember, It won’t all happen overnight. We have a lot of work to do. Nobody’s gonna swoop down from the heavens and save us. Source Who Is All gives us free will so we can make creative choices. The key to decoding the New Moon chart is Saturn in Virgo opposite Uranus in Pisces conjunct Venus in Pisces which represents the tension between the Old (Saturn) and the New (Uranus). Saturn in Virgo can be read as karmic healing / purification and Uranus & Venus in Pisces as universal compassion and enlightenment through empowerment of the feminine. The resolution of this great tension in the opposition is coming through the awesome close conjunction of Jupiter, Moon , Sun and North Node in Aquarius and the Quincunx of Chiron & Neptune in Aquarius to Saturn in Virgo. Jupiter / Moon / Sun / North Node – spiritual mastery (Jupiter) through fusion of the Masculine (Sun) and feminine (Moon) bringing us to our next level of evolution (North Node in Aquarius). And the Quincunx of Chiron & Neptune in Aquarius to Saturn in Virgo is pushing us to release karmic conditioning (Saturn) through healing (Chiron) our relationship with the Divine (Neptune) by releasing religious dogma (Neptune in Aquarius) and surrendering into an intimate, enlightened and ecstatic relationship with the Divine. On a more mundane level, the crashing economy will get worse. I don’t see much relief until next fall. It’s all a result of greed, selfishness, fear, and short sightedness. Eventually, we will begin to realize that if everyone would just share more with each other, everyone will have enough. And that’s the key – sharing and having just enough. When too many people take more than they really need, too many people don’t have enough. We would all be much happier and healthier if we lived more simply, naturally and efficiently, like the indigenous people. And we can’t keep taking and taking and taking from Mother Earth without asking permission from her!! WE MUST ASK PERMISSION FIRST, AND THEN EXPRESS GRATITUDE!!! This New Moon has tremendous torque and will catapult us into a new year (It’s also Chinese New Year!! OMG!!!) full of chaos, fear and drama as we let go of the old, and hope, love, and joyous victories as we transform and emerge into the new. 2. I have posted the 2009 Reiki class schedule on my site.
