A typical session with me will include a seamless blend of the following modalities along with other spontaneous techniques which I may be intuitively guided to employ. Traditional Usui Reiki Reiki ( pronounced ray – key ) is quickly becoming the most popular holistic healing modality on the planet. It is a healing touch modality that was developed by a Japanese man named Mikao Usui about 100 years ago. Reiki is administered with a light touch while the recipient lies on a massage table, fully clothed. Reiki is a very subtle and gentle, yet powerful vibration that emanates from the practitioners hands and tunes up the recipients physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects into harmonious alignment. In this way, Reiki promotes deep healing on all levels. Reiki has a long track record of helping people heal any imaginable type of disease, injury, or emotional / mental problem. The ability to heal with Reiki is passed down through the Reiki lineage from teacher to student in a ritual blessing called an “attunement”. The attunement awakens the student’s dormant ability to channel Reiki. Anyone can learn Reiki, even children ! The only prerequisite is a sincere desire to become a channel for this wonderful healing energy. Karuna Reiki® VortexHealing® Vortex Healing® is a very powerful healing modality. Like Reiki, it is passed down through a lineage. The VortexHealing® lineage goes back 5000 years to India. It is known as the Merlin lineage, because the legendary Merlin of Arthurian times was an initiate of this lineage, which is characterized by the energies of magical transformation. Ric Weinman revived the lineage in the late 20th century and I was initiated by Lorraine Stobbe – Goldbloom, one of his students.
